Where it began

We started doing what we knew.

Back in 2018, Nextsclick wasn't built around a big vision for eCommerce dominance. We were a small team focused on what we knew best — building websites, managing social media, and helping businesses find their footing online.

We were good at it. Clients were happy. The work was steady. And then, almost without warning, everything changed.

Then Covid happened.
Everything changed.

Overnight, physical stores shut. One of our clients — a heritage mattress brand with over 100 years of history from the UK — faced an impossible question: how do you sell mattresses when nobody can visit a showroom?

We had no playbook. So we wrote one. We launched their Shopee and Lazada stores from scratch, learned marketplace advertising on the fly, and showed up on 11.11 ready to compete.

When social commerce became our biggest bet.

When TikTok Shop launched in Malaysia, most agencies waited to see what would happen. We didn't. We jumped in early, built live selling capabilities, and helped our clients ride the wave before the market got crowded.
